No not really, the clamp hurt more then the peircing but, everyones pain level if so different. My girlfriend and I had it done at the same time, while mine didn't hurt hers was pretty painful.

I didnt even notice it when he pierced my belly button!
He told me he was going to count to three and do it, so I started counting for him--and my mom, who was with me interupted me and said ''no hun, he's going to start counting'' and when we both looked to him expecting him to start counting he went ''what are you talking about? im already done!'' Just be sure to keep it clean, its a pain in the butt when it gets infected! |

Of course it hurts, all piercings hurt to a cetain extent it just depends on your pain tolerance level, mine did hurt alot! but its only for like 2 seconds so its worth it, and i think the clamp hurt more, its really tight but they have to hold it tight to keep hold of the skin and to numb it a bit! Good Luck!!!

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate a belly button piercing a 2. It really doesn't hurt at all, but there is a quick pinch. The piercer will put on the clamp, probably draw dots where the needle needs to go, you will feel pressure and a pinch and it's over! Afterwards it will probably bleed a drop or two (not much) and may be sore for a few days.
I didn't watch, I closed my eyes. After he was done he said "Are you okay?" and I started to say "Yeah it didn't even hurt!" but he was talking to my mom! Haha she looked like she was going to pass out, she watched =]. Good luck! |

it stings as it is going through your belly button & when he puts the ring in.. which is in total like 10 seconds.. not a big deall && it doesnt hurt after like its not sore, its just a little bit of an uncomfortable feeling which usually lasts like a little less than a week..
my guy didnt use a clamp but i heard the clamp was annoying and sometimes people said that it hurt more than the peircing but dont wrry. ., . to relieve the pain, you might wanna take an advil or something before (nothing with asprin in it because thats a blood thinner and if you bleed, you may bleed more than normal) i didnt bleed though.. you want to make sure that the place is sterile so make sure -the piercer has gloves on -they take the needles out of seperate plastic packages -rubs your belly button with alcohol b4 i got mine 4 months ago & i lovee itt!.. its reallyy cute (guys thinkk soo lol) and as long as you keep it clean and dont irritate it, it will heal fine!.. some tipss: -when you get it first pierced, wear loose clothing so it doesnt get irritated and migrate/reject -ALWAYS wash your hands before you touch it cuz you def dont want an infection -for the first month you cant sleep on your stomach -for the first month, you have you soak it in a sea salt solution so it heals faster & keeps it clean (do this in luke warm water for 10 mintues every night) -use antibacteria soap like dial (clean 1/2 times a day) -if you do start getting some puss, just soak it in the sea salt soak and it will most likely go away .. if it doesnt DONT take your ring out because it will lock teh infection it. which isnt good.. i would go back to your piercerr. -after about 2 months you can go back to your peircer and he will change your ring for you so he can teach you the right way to do it so you dont irritate it that much -& one last tip is to make sure that where your getting your belly button pierced it clean and sterile. step by step.. some places do it different. but most likely he will: -sterilize your skin with an alcohol pad -put a dot on your bely button where he is going to pierce it -get a clamp and place it where the dot is in the middle. (my person didnt use a clamp) -my guy piecred my from bottom to top. -and after the needle went through, he will just slide the jewlery through. -wipe it down -explain everything you need to do to take care of it && then your done! some say the healing time take about 6-12 months because its like the point in your body that moves the most so its gonna take time.. mines 2 months and its not healed yet. they say not to go swimming within the first 2 months of it healing. after that just soak it with the sea salt soak or clean it with dial soap and it should be fine. i love my belly button ring & i dont think you will regret yours!! hope that helpedd hunn! good luckkk=) |
