Acne is caused in part by hormonal imbalances. Birth control bills stabilize your hormones and thus help acne and make your periods less intense.

Because birth control is several different hormones.

It will control and change your hormones helping to improve your skin. And to keep you from getting preggers....99.9%.

    Hope that helps!!!

It does work, my skin cleared up really nicely when I went onto it.

What they DON'T tell you is that for some women if you're on birth control more than 5 years you'll see your breasts go up one or two sizes, which I wasn't all that thrilled about. I'm a D now when I used to be a B. I added the size after age 28 so it wasn't puberty related.

I went on birth control about 2 months ago and there is virtually no acne left on my face. And I had it really bad, like at least 6 new zits every day. Plus my breasts are growing. It's great.

ive been on many different types of pills and i dont think any have helped my acne. Only made me go up from a bra size from a C to an E - it really sucks.
